The location was good. If you are up for a walk you get walk to all the fun or historic sites around Dublin.

The parking is not included with the room. They do not have enouph spots for all the guest and they charge to use it. Also, the desk clerk when we checked in was not helpful at all. She directed us to park in an open spot on the street by the hotel, but did not tell us it was a pay-to- park spot. Being tourists we were lucky not to get our car clamped. The Wi-Fi doesnt reach the rooms. You have to go down to the check in desk to use the wi-fi. Our shower didnt drain properly and had a constant pool of water sitting in it.

        Close to the centre

Our shower was broken for the entire time we were there, we asked to have it fixed every day to no avail. The plug sockets were hanging of the wall and incredibly dangerous. The staff although sweet were incompetent and spoke very little English. Would not recommend.

It was convenient to the city centre and I liked the room which had a double and twin beds and the authenticity of the building.

Whilst I was told that I could park my car if there was a space in the car park I was not told until I arrived that it would cost €10 per day. There was no milk in my room when I arrived, tired from travelling. I asked the receptionist if she could get me some but that was not a possiblility which I felt was very poor service. There was also some badly areas in the bathroom and no shampoo or body wash.

      • Couple
        7.0

The location and secure car parking.

The noise was awful from the street (we stayed at the front). Closing the window made little difference. The room was tiny and the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen.

Got room for 40e so very good value for city centre, room clean and comfortable but basic

Corridors bit musty/ hotel bit run down. Fuzzy tv- poor channel choice, fine if need a cheap stay but wouldn't stay otherwise

Beautiful building, in a nice part of town.

They didn't have our booking, and there was some sort of credit card problem.

        good value for money

the shower curtain needed repairing. lack of shelves in the bathroom

        location

room too warm, the weather was very cold, but room temperature should be more regulated

      • Couple

Very cheap price in good location

The bed was lobsided, and the room was tiny

Located very close to the city centre's night life and free wi-fi.

There was strange smell in the room and average level of cleanliness. The sound isolation was also a bit poor. You could listen to the music of the next door night club until very late in the night.

      • Older travelers
        8.8

It was very, very cheap. Very good location, clean rooms with modern interior. Rooms not large, but we didn't expect them to be.

You could hear the wind and the traffic through the windows, so if you are a light sleeper this might bother you.. We didn't mind though!

        Good location, good transport connection.

Very small room, small bed, tiny bathroom.

        Fair comparing price

Too small room and there is no elevator at 4 floor hotel.

      • Group of friends
        7.8

Excellent location, close to St Stevens Green

The ground floor rooms were unexplainedly warm with no air conditioning. On Saturday night it was too noisy outside to sleep with the window open.

      • Single
        6.6

Good value hotel in street of Georgian townhouses close to St. Stephen's Green. 5 Euro continental breakfast was also good value.

Bathroom, especialy wash basin was very small (though there was a very powerful shower!) Noise from street could be a problem - single glazed sash windows.
